This is a test of whether photos embedded into another blog using Picasa can be accessed directly by another blog. If so, a selected photo of Andis Kaulins from AK Photo Blog should be found below:

So, this works but is limited to .jpg images only, which is not very useful.

The rich-text menu of the Blooger editing page allows the posting of up to 300 megabytes of pictures in JPG, GIF, PNG, TIF or BMP format. These pictures can also be directly linked (i.e. posted), but only in other Blogger BlogPost.com pages. Here we upload a GIF format file of our book Stars Stones and Scholars:
